Hi, my name is Lauren Wadusky. I grew up in Glen Dale, West Virginia. I attended West Liberty State University where I graduated magna cum laude with 2 BA degrees. While in school, I was involved in teaching and performing in completive dance. I won the honor to perform in the half time show of the Pro-Bowl in Hawaii and the opening ceremonies of the Good Will Games in St. Petersburg, Russia.
I started my teaching career in Gloucester, Virginia. I taught there for 2.5 years before moving to New Jersey. Once in New Jersey, I got hired as a middle school math teacher at Northern Burlington. I taught at the middle school for 5 years and then moved to the high school.
While in Virginia and at Northern Burlington, I continued my love for dance by coaching cheerleading for 5 years. Currently I focus my time at Northern creating math lessons that are engaging, fun and easy to follow. I try my best to make hard concept achievable for all levels of learners. I believe in encouraging my students to make responsible decisions that will help them achieve success once they have graduated high school.
Outside of school, I am a full time mom to 2 young boys. Most evenings you can find us at the baseball or soccer field. During our free time we like to spend time at the beach, play card games and board games, have family movie nights and visit family in West Virginia.
Thank you for taking the time to learn a little more about me. If you ever want to reach me just email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
