My name is Alyssa Reppert and I teach Geometry & Probability 8 at Northern Burlington Middle School. I graduated from Rowan University with a Bachelor’s in Mathematics, as well as a Bachelor’s in Education. I discovered my career path early in my college career by chance. I took an after school tutoring job in Eastampton, and was also invited to work with struggling students in Kindergarten during the school day. I had no prior interest in teaching, but I was a strong student and thought I would be a good fit for the tutoring job. After my first shift concluded, I knew what I wanted to do with my life. I declared my major that same week, and four years later I found myself working at Northern. Since my start here, I have had the pleasure of teaching both seventh and eighth grade, advising the Math Counts Club, as well as coaching both field hockey and lacrosse at the middle school level. This school involvement has allowed me the privilege of getting to know most of my students on a personal level. I am proud to be a Northern Burlington Greyhound!
My Geometry & Probability class is unique in the sense that it is a semester long course. We cover topics such as Triangles, Angle Relationships, Pythagorean Theorem, Congruence and Similarity, and Volume and Surface Area. We cover all NJ Standards, and even more! Should you have any questions, the best way to reach me is through email, firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me!
