I am a Jersey girl through and through. I grew up in South Jersey and graduated from Vineland High School. Ever since I was a young child, I have always wanted to be a teacher. Throughout high school I worked for an after school and summer program for children with disabilities. I attended LaSalle University where I graduated with a dual major in Elementary and Special Education.
I have been teaching since 2001. In 2011, I moved to Central New Jersey and started my career at Northern Burlington Middle School. I love math and have taught Math 7, Geometry and Probability 7 & 8. I currently teach students who are multiply disabled. In addition to teaching, I am the Advisor for Buddy Club and a tutor.
In my classes I strive to make sure my students know that each one of them is important. My classes are not just about teaching academics, they are about teaching students skills needed to be successful in life.
At home, I have 2 dogs and and a cat. My favorite place is the beach and I love to travel. My hobbies outside of school include practicing real estate, yoga and dancing. I embrace each new year with an open mind and fresh start.
