Hola, my name is Mrs. McWilliams.
I’m originally from Caracas, Venezuela, but have been living in the United States since 1991. I am married and have two children. I graduated from East Stroudsburg University in 1999 and began teaching at Northern Burlington High School in 2001.
I became a Spanish teacher because I love the Spanish culture and I want to show others how to love it too. I teach Spanish II to mostly freshmen and sophomores and Spanish IV, AP Spanish Language and AP Spanish Literature to juniors and seniors.
In addition to my responsibilities as a classroom teacher, I’m the Spanish Honor Society Advisor and the Senior Class advisor for the Class of 2017. I also serve on the school’s Climate Committee and as a Mentor for the district’s mentoring program to guide, assist and support our new teachers during their crucial first year of teaching.
When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time outdoors and with my family and friends. I love to travel, to read and to listen to music.
The best way to reach me is by email at fmcwilliams@nburlington.com.
