I grew up in South Jersey and attended Rutgers University where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English. At Rutgers I was the secretary of Rutgers chapter of Kappa Delta Pi, the honor society for future educators. After graduating with honors I attended Drexel University where I received a Master’s Degree in the Science of Instruction with a core concentration in teaching secondary English. I continued at Drexel and earned certification to teach Special Education. I worked at Northern Burlington as a long term substitute before accepting a permanent position Y.A.L.E. School in Cherry Hill. After working at Y.A.L.E. for five years I accepted my dream job in the Special Education Department at Northern Burlington County Middle School.
I currently split my day between the 7th and 8th grade classes. I teach 4 replacement ELA classes and two inclusion classes. I enjoy working with the staff at Northern, they are resourceful and nurturing.
At home, I spend time with my children and am continuing my education, I am currently working towards my doctoral degree in Educational Leadership
