After completing college at Montclair State University, I began my teaching career at my alma mater, Parsippany Hills High School, in Parsippany, NJ. After teaching there for a few years, I relocated to Central NJ and started teaching at Northern in 2008; I’ve been here ever since.
Inside the classroom, I love the elegance of mathematics – specifically the way it builds elegant worlds of knowledge on top of its own solid foundation. I hope to convey my love for the subject to each student who enters my classroom, and show that “beautiful” is a word that can accurately describe mathematics. Outside the classroom, I teach Northern’s Marching Band, and love that the positions offers me a different type of creative outlet, as well as provides me the opportunity to forge relationships with colleagues, students, parents, and other community members that I couldn’t build in just the classroom.
I spend my free time wrangling my two sons, seeing live music, and spending time in nature snowboarding, hiking, and camping.
